Produced in Martos, province of Jaen,by the Agricultural Cooperative San Amador. Protected by the Denomination of Origin Campinas for Jaén, with brand certified of quality in the region that hosts the largest extension of olive trees in the world, with around 50 million trees. These olive trees are considered among the oldest in the Iberian Peninsula, introduced its cultivation by the early Roman settlers. The oil was collected in jars of mud and exported through the Mediterranean ports to the Roman metropolis. Made with olives of the Picual variety, has the characteristic itching and bitterness typical of this variety.

Tasting report

Yellowish green with golden reflections, shiny and voluminous. Smell, complexity of aromas of green and fresh fruits . Aromatic herb as basil and fennel, which combine with tomato and avocado aromas. Hints of apple, banana and matures almonds. Fruity and full bodied. The taste is clean, soft and almost sweet, fragrant and spicy with an intense bitter. Velvety with good persistence.
